Researcher/ Content Writer

UPDATED+ বাংলা is looking for Bengali writers and journalists who can contribute

original, well-researched stories for our growing Bengali-language section.

Responsibilities

Research and write original articles in natural, publication-quality Bengali.
Pitch relevant story ideas, features and explainers.
Follow UPDATED+ editorial, accuracy and attribution standards.
Cover relevant developments from West Bengal, India and beyond where appropriate.

Expected Contribution

Initially, contributors may be commissioned for approximately 2–3 articles per week,

depending on editorial requirements and availability.

PR & Social Media Executive

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Engagement: Freelance / Part-time
Experience: 1–3+ years preferred

UPDATED+ is looking for a proactive PR and Social Media professional to strengthen our

brand visibility, media relationships, audience engagement and digital distribution.

Public Relations

Coordinate distribution of press releases and media communications.
Conduct media outreach and appropriate follow-ups.
Identify PR, interview, collaboration and partnership opportunities.
Manage and maintain UPDATED+ presence across Facebook, Instagram, X and LinkedIn.
Distribute important UPDATED+ articles across relevant channels.
Identify opportunities to increase referral traffic from social platforms.
